The following branding guidelines outline how to correctly word products, functionality, and features, associated with Elgato and Elgato products, when providing copy for your products.

Elgato

Requirements
  • use "Elgato"

  • use "ElGato" — must use lowercase "g".

  • use "El gato" — cats not included.

Marketplace

Requirements
  • use "Marketplace" — one word.

  • use "Maker Console".

Stream Deck

Requirements
  • use "Stream Deck" — two words.

  • use "Stream Deck +" — plus symbol.

  • use "Stream Deck Mobile".

  • use "Stream Deck MK.2" — when referring to Stream Deck (15 key) in the context of animated screensavers.

  • use "StreamDeck" — must include space.

  • use "Stream Deck+" — must include space after "Deck".

  • use "Stream Deck Plus" — must use +.

Interaction

Requirements
  • use "key" — when referring to physical Stream Deck buttons, including Stream Deck Mobile.

  • use "dial" — when referring to physical Stream Deck dials.

  • use "touch strip" — when referring to the physical Stream Deck + touch strip.

  • use "touchscreen" — when referring to the physical Stream Deck +, prefer touch strip.

Miscellaneous

Requirements
  • use "plugin" — hyphen should be omitted when referring to Stream Deck plugins.

  • use "App" — prefer instead of "application".
